November arrives quietly

......but certainly not the typical start to November. It's still unseasonably warm and many of my trees still have green leaves upon them. Nature rarely gets it wrong so without being unduly pessimistic I forecast that this cannot last much longer.
The bird activity has certainly increased on the feeders and a part of me looks forward to some decent crisp mornings and snowfalls.
As they say, be careful what you wish for...... watch this space.
