The Daffodils are blooming, the grass is growing apace but the weather is still undecided and alternating between lovely warm spring-like days and cold, damp and windy blasts from the north. Pretty typical of this time of year I suppose. I’m anxiously waiting now to see whether a pair of blue tits that are daily visitors to my garden are going to inhabit one of my bird boxes to raise their young. One box in particular has had greater success than the others, despite its dilapidated condition, so time will tell. Last year a fickle pair rejected my accommodation for a neighbouring garden box, but still used my facilities to feed themselves. That’s gratitude. I’ll keep you posted.
